Guam – Public safety oversight chair senator Adolpho Palacios is seeking clarification on the seventh member of the Territorial Parole board. Palacios sent a letter to Governor Eddie Calvo stating that Kenneth Boardman was appointed and served as a member up to about the late part of 2010. Palacios says Boardman informed him that he had resigned from the board last year due to other obligations, however the resignation letter never made it the Governor's office. Palacios requests verification of Boardman's position, and urges the Governor to appoint a seventh member to serve on the board. There are currently six members working to tackle the back log of parolees some of who have been waiting for a hearing for the past 6 months.
