Guam - Huge congratulations are due film director Alex Munoz, Public Health and everyone involved in the Prutehi Hao - Protect Yourself campaign, which focuses on spreading awareness and preventing STDs and HIV. Their "Protect Yourself" PSA, which premiered on KUAM in January, won the Best PSA Award at the Urban Mediamakers Association and Film Festival held recently in Georgia.
The film festival is the signature event of the Urban Mediamakers Organization, which was founded in 2001 to promote and support a diverse independent media arts community.
