Governor makes pitch for Guam in Shanghai

China is interested in Guam for potential investments, development opportunities, tourism, and education.

Guam - China is interested in Guam for potential investments, development opportunities, tourism, and education. Governor Eddie Calvo met with more than two dozen representatives from Shanghai's business community on Tuesday, encouraging them to come to the territory to learn more about investment opportunities. 

The governor and his delegation also met with the manager of the Visa Processing Office, looking to encourage more Chinese visitors to Guam. Today the governor joined his counterparts at the U.S.-China Governors' Forum in Beijing.
