Teen hit by car in Tamuning

An 18 year old woman is in critical condition at the Guam Memorial hospital after she was struck by a vehicle in Tamuning Tuesday evening.

Guam - An 18 year old woman is in critical condition at the Guam Memorial hospital after she was struck by a vehicle in Tamuning Tuesday evening. According to GFD  spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero, the E911 call came in around 10:49pm of an auto pedestrian accident along route 1 near AK in Tamuning. He adds emergency units responded to the scene and the teenager was transported to the hospital with major injuries. A GMH nursing supervisor says the victim is in critical condition in the emergency room where she is being treated for head injuries and fractured ribs. Her identity has not released. Authorities have not yet provided information on the driver or the vehicle involved.
