Visiting author teaches students about resiliency

Maryland author and cartoonist Marc Tyler Nobleman spoke to students at Simon Sanchez High School this morning on the importance of resiliency.

Guam - Maryland author and cartoonist Marc Tyler Nobleman spoke to students at Simon Sanchez High School this morning on the importance of resiliency. "My main message is the importance of being persistent and how to handle rejection, because it comes for everybody," he explained. "Writers and cartoonists go through it a lot."

Nobleman has been writing for over 15 years. He is here on Guam as part of a two-week tour to visit 14 schools on the island. Nobleman's 70 published books are mainly targeted for children, but his favorite work being Boys of Steel: The Creators of Superman, which is intended for all ages.
