Guam - Hoping to develop policies for law enforcement and public safety personnel that affect individuals with disabilities, Senator Adolpho Palacios established the Sustaining Appropriate and Fair Environments Subcommittee. The lawmaker tapped his colleague Senator Aline Yamashita to serve as chairperson.

Palacios says the group's main focus will be to identify and propose policies and programs within the island's criminal justice system that may need updating to better serve individuals with disabilities.
