Guam - Businesses that fail to display their current licenses could face penalties if Bill 349 becomes law. The measure, introduced by Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz and Senator Tina Muna Barnes, would require business licenses to be displayed within 50 feet of their main entrances.

The lawmakers say the legislation would give rev and tax the necessary tools to enforce Guam's business license statutes.  The proposed penalties would be $500 for the first violation, $1,000 for the second, and closure of the business until a license is displayed for a third violation.
