Bill includes Judiciary in retirement system

Guam – Senator Adolpho Palacios introduced legislation relative to the employment of public sector retirees within the Judiciary of Guam. Bill 347 essentially includes unclassified employees of the Judiciary appointed by the Chief Justice to become a member of the defined contribution retirement system. The measure also enables the Judiciary to employ retirees who are well capable of performing critical functions within the Judiciary.
