5 hikers rescued by 'copter near Yokoi's Cave

Guam – Five hikers were transported to Naval hospital this evening after being rescued near the Yokoi's cave vicinity. According to Guam Fire Department spokesperson Lt. Ed Artero, emergency officials got the call around 4:37pm that 5 hikers were lost in the southern area. Rescue units responded and had to go on foot to locate the hikers. Artero says Navy HSC 25 was also activated as one of the hikers suffered a leg injury. All five hikers were hoisted up by the helo just after 6pm, and transported to Naval hospital for treatment.
