Pitt commits $18K to Guam Healthcare

Guam - The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center committed an $18,000 donation to the Guam Healthcare and Hospital Development Foundation. The funds will be used to cover diabetes prevention efforts on Guam, with a portion to go towards the adopt a family program to prevent diseases on Guam. Representatives of the University of Pittsburgh Diabetes Institute made the commitment on the final day of their week long visit where they engaged with various stakeholders in the community on the diabetes action plan for Guam.
