Guam - The Guam Education Board and the Guam Federation of Teachers may be easing their way back to the negotiating table. According to GEB member Barry Mead, the board has listed seven potential local mediators in an effort to resolve the disagreements between both parties. The seven candidates are private Attorneys Robert Klitzkie and Dan Somerfleck, Public Defender Robert Weinberg, and Assistant AG's Donna Lawrence, Pat Mason, John Weisenberger, and John Quan.
Mead hopes the GFT will agree to one of the candidates so collective bargaining negotiations may continue before the current contract expires November 6.
