Man says he bit woman because he "was magodai"

Guam - 23-year-old Justin Jermaine Cruz was placed behind bars accused of assaulting a woman known to him on two separate occasions.  The victim told police Cruz got angry and placed her in a choke hold and bit her shoulder last week. 

Cruz allegedly became angry again on Wednesday slapping her in the face and then biting her cheek.  Police noted a bite mark on her face and arrested Justin Cruz on charges of family violence and assault.

Cruz denied striking the woman, but said he only bit her because he was "magodai" (EDITOR'S NOTE: Chamorro sentiment for "irresistibly cute", normally used with babies).
