Guam - Guam airport rescue fire fighters were activated on the runway Sunday evening after Continental flight 1 from Honolulu experienced technical problems. GIAA spokesperson Rolenda Faasuamalie says the crew on board reported a malfunction with the landing gear indicator around 6:47pm. She says an alert was called with ARFF standing by for response. The aircraft did a couple fly-by's before safely landing at 6:57pm. Faasuamalie says the flight was originally expected to arrive at 6pm. No injuries were reported and the plane landed without incident. This is the fifth emergency landing the airline has made in the past several weeks.
