Job fair for unemployed servicemembers

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve organization introduced its employment program designed to support the unemployed and under employed national, Guard and Reserve servicemembers, veterans and spouses.

Guam - The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve organization introduced its employment program designed to support the unemployed and under employed national, Guard and Reserve servicemembers, veterans and spouses. Air National Guard Captain Josephine Blas says this is a collaborative effort with various federal agencies.

She said, "We are trying to get potential employers for the servicemembers and on October 13 we are having a job fair. So by educating, these employers we they can hopefully, give service members a job."

The job fair will be held at the Sheraton in Tamuning.
