Rotary Club donates 2,000 books to JFK

The Rotary Club of Northern Guam made a significant contribution to John F. Kennedy High School this morning - an assortment of two thousand books ranging from  children's, teen, and adult reading in fiction, non-fiction, and educational.

Guam - The Rotary Club of Northern Guam made a significant contribution to John F. Kennedy High School this morning - an assortment of two thousand books ranging from  children's, teen, and adult reading in fiction, non-fiction, and educational.

"These books were donated to our club from the Honolulu Sunset Rotary Club and this is through a book project that they have in association with their library system there. 244 they chose our club as a recipient," said a representative.

Also deserving recognition, Matson Navigation and Dewitt Moving and Storage for helping get the books to Guam. A total of 6,000 books were actually donated, the remaining books are going to school libraries in Manila and Pohnpei.
