Guam - Case closed. Department of Corrections director Jose San Agustin decided to take "no" adverse action against the warden and two officers under investigation. A complaint was filed with the department in July alleging the warden had the officers work in uniform at his private residence to help prepare for a rosary, while on the clock.
DepCor spokesperson Lt. Antone Aguon said, "The officers did meet with the director, they were served notice of proposed adverse action, all three of them, and they had an opportunity to explain themselves and their actions and the director has decided after hearing their response and take into consideration all the other issues in regards to that and he decided not to take any formal action against them."
Aguon does say the department does take complaints made against its officers seriously, and the final decision to take adverse action if any is made by the director.
