Special session continues on Bill 1(4S)
Guam - It was day two of special session four as lawmakers continued dialogue on Bill 1-4-S sent down from Adelup Tuesday. The Administration is seeking legislative favor on this bill they say is necessary to amend the real property tax provisions and the general bond authorization in the bond law.
According to the governor's chief policy advisor Arthur Clark the amendments would allow the bond counsel to provide an unqualified opinion needed to take the bond to market.
Today's special session was recessed just before five o'clock and continues tomorrow.
