Guam - Seven people charged in connection with a wire fraud and theft conspiracy pleaded not guilty in the District Court today. The actions allegedly took place at the Naval Base Exchange. The individuals allegedly obtained credit cards through the Army and Air Force Exchange Service and racked up thousands of dollars above their credit limits.

It's alleged that employees of the exchange helped the individuals do this by inputting authorization codes to override charges that had been declined.  Johanna Naputi, Genevieve Torres, Jasmine Cruz, Vincent Aguon, Jessica Taijeron, Shannon Peredo and Eleecia Cali pleaded not guilty to charges of wire fraud and theft of government property.

The cases, which are being handled separately, will go to trial between October and December.
