Guam - The Guam Department of Education may have a superintendent come Thursday morning. According to Guam Education Board chairman Francis Santos, the paperwork and interviews are done, and the board will likely vote on the position at Thursday's general meeting.

The two candidates are George Washington High School teacher Salvador Avilla and Governor Eddie Calvo's education liaison, Vince Leon Guerrero. The meeting is scheduled for 8:30am in the DOE Conference Room in Hagatna.
