Guam - Paperwork's in order, interviews are completed, all that's left is to take a vote. This Thursday employees at the Department of Education just might have a new superintendent.  The Guam Education Board is scheduled to meet at 8:30 that morning, where chairperson Francis Santos says a vote is likely to take place.

If you've been following along, then you know the two people up for the job are George Washington High School teacher Salvador Avilla and Governor Eddie Calvo's education liaison, Vince Leon Guerrero.

Thursday's meeting will be held in DOE's Conference Room in Hagatna.
