Guam - Four adult males and two male minors were arrested Sunday evening charged for the assault and murder of two male teenagers and a third teenager who is on life support in critical condition at the Guam memorial hospital. Benny Sam Robert was arrested for aggravated murder, rioting, assault and jurisdiction over an adult, Jeff Pedro was arrested for rioting, Osupwang Jery Muritok was arrested for aggravated murder and jurisdiction over an adult, and Vimson Menisio was booked and confined for 2 counts of aggravated murder, rioting, and jurisdiction over an adult. A 16-year-old male was confined at the Department of youth affairs for 2 counts of rioting, conspiracy, and under age consumption, while a 15 year old male was charged with aggravated assault, 2 counts of rioting, conspiracy, and under age consumption. All victims suffered stabbed wounds, while a fourth victim was treated for cuts he sustained when trying to stop the fight.
As we reported, witnesses say the riot was gang related, and involved what looked like 20 male individuals fighting with 5 other male individuals in the parking lot of Hanna market in Harmon Saturday evening. The first teen that died was found in the store parking lot, while the second was found near the Dededo flea market along Harmon loop road. Guam police are investigating the death of three men, despite the hospital saying they only received two dead bodies. GPD's criminal investigation section continues to investigate the incident. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday afternoon.
