Guam - Finding everything you wanted to know about Guam just got easier. A new online directory for the island called The Guam Guide just went up last week and serves both local residents and visitors. The Guam Guide Creator and webmaster Jessica Peterson says she created the web site with her husband Tim to not only allow local businesses to display features and promotions, but help users find hotels, restaurants, spas, salons and events.

The site is multilingual and allows users to rate businesses and make comments, even connecting them to Facebook pages. She said, "Local business owners are very smart, they know that almost 40% of locals are using Facebook and smart phones are flying off the shelves, so this is a unique place where you can learn everything you need to know about Guam."

Peterson adds the web site showcases Guam's beaches, villages and cultural sites. It also allows users to search movie listings, business hours of operations and obtain coupons and deals. The Guam Guide is free for users and can be viewed at TheGuamGuide.com.
