Guam – Two 21 year old men are behind bars for allegedly snatching a purse from a female Japanese tourist. Police say Ignacio Aldan and Gerome Mira allegedly grabbed the victim's purse while she was walking along the JFK hill in Tumon Thursday evening. The victim struggled to hold on, causing her to fall and receive abrasions to both her knees and wrist. Police say the pair then ran towards a parked vehicle and fled.

About an hour and a half later, authorities spotted the suspect vehicle in Dededo. The two were taken into custody and charged with purse snatching, conspiracy and destruction of evidence. The victim's property was recovered.
