Guam - The Guam Police Department is racing against the clock to relocate out of its current headquarters facility in Tiyan. According to staff at the Governor's Office, they are wrapping up negotiations to secure another facility.

The airport needs the space GPD currently occupies to avoid losing federal money. Adelup officials could not say where the force will be relocated to at this time, however, anticipate negotiations to conclude by the end of the week. GPD has until October 1 to vacate the Tiyan facility.
