Officer-involved shooting in Dededo

Guam Police Department units are investigating an aggravated assault reported around 3:03 p.m. Monday afternoon at a residence on Hahasu Drive in Dededo. 

According to GPD spokesperson Norman Analista, responding officers encountered an adult male suspect armed with a firearm.

The incident resulted in an officer-involved shooting.

Medics responded to the scene and transported the suspect to Guam Regional Medical City for treatment.

No additional information has been released as of yesterday.
