Pay-Less Kick the Fat announces road closures and event details

Pay-Less Markets Community Foundation is announcing temporary road closures in Hagåtña and surrounding areas on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in support of the 30th Annual Pay-Less Kick the Fat 5K/10K Run/Walk and Wellness Fair at Paseo Stadium.

From 3:30 a.m. to 9 a.m., the following roads will experience closures:

• Southbound lanes (outer two lanes) along Marine Corps Drive from Paseo to Alupang Beach Towers will be closed. The innermost southbound lane will remain open for through traffic.
• All southbound and northbound lanes on Marine Corps Drive from Paseo to Adelup will be closed, including connecting side roads from Paseo to West O'Brien Drive.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and allow additional travel time during the closure period. Traffic control personnel will be set up throughout the course area to assist with detours and ensure public safety.

Participants can also look forward to fireworks and music along the race course, adding to the celebratory atmosphere of the 30th Annual Kick the Fat event.

Registration for Kick the Fat 2026 is open through March 13, 2026, at 5 p.m. There will be no race day registration.

Mandatory packet pick-up will be held at Micronesia Mall, 1st Floor Center Court (next to Beyond the Box, Space 121/122) on Feb. 28 to March 1 and March 7 & 8. 

Registered participants must pick up their packets in person, including race bib with chip timing and official race apparel for eligible registrants.
