A 52-year-old man is facing felony charges after police say he threatened a family member during a disturbance at Ironwood Apartments in Toto.

According to a magistrate’s complaint filed in superior court, Shawn Borja Camacho is charged with terrorizing and family violence as third-degree felonies, along with assault as a misdemeanor.

Officers responded early Wednesday morning. A woman told police that during an argument, Camacho allegedly threatened her with a knife, saying he would “poke your eye out and slash your throat.” She said he also picked up a metal chair and threatened to bash her head with it before she ran from the apartment.

Court documents state Camacho admitted to threatening her. He was released on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.
