Chugach makes big donation for culture

Guam - This morning representatives from the Hurao Academy and Linala received a generous donation from Chugach Alaska Corporation. In January, ground was broken in Tumon for Sagan Kotturan Chamorro. The $150,000 donation is Chugach's continued commitment to the mission of the project. 

Chugach Western Pacific Region Manager Ray Llaneta told KUAM News, "We had our board of directors and president take a look at the project, they were taken aback and awestruck with Ann Marie (Arceo) and her drive to make something happen for the people of Guam."

The first phase of the cultural center is set to be complete in October of this year.
