No action on proposed utility surcharge
Guam - Following Wednesday's Public Utilities Commission meeting, Consolidated Commissions on Utilities chairman Simon Sanchez tells KUAM News that the PUC took no action on the proposed surcharge to fund the $18 million rate increase ordered by PUC.
He adds that no action on the request to reprogram the bond fund was taken to meet the stipulation order. PUC's administrator Law Judge David Mair is continuing to conduct hearings and gatherings to make a formal recommendation to the PUC. He says as of Wednesday evening, the matter is still in progress.
