Two DOE schools get full accreditation

Inarajan elementary school last Friday got the notice from the Western association of schools and colleges granting the maximum six year accreditation, which will be in effect until 2017.

Guam – Two of the island's public schools each received a six-year accreditation. According to Department of Education acting superintendent Taling Taitano, Inarajan elementary school last Friday got the notice from the Western association of schools and colleges granting the maximum six year accreditation, which will be in effect until 2017.

Additionally, Upi elementary school was given the same certification. According to a letter from the accrediting commission for schools, the visiting committee noted many laudable aspects of the campus, and the commission is confident that efforts to improve the school will be reinforced.
