Guam - Department of Labor Director Leahbeth Nahalowaa spoke before the Rotary Club of Northern Guam this afternoon, detailing the various services her agency provides for residents. With unemployment on the rise, Nahalowaa said that the majority of those without jobs are the island's youth.

"Teenagers is the highest, we don't have enough companies that hire teenagers and I hope if your company willing to hire teenagers to work during the summer or even as interns I would highly encourage it," she said.

She adds her agency is also working on long term goals with the University of Guam and GCC to assist with increased employment numbers.
