GEB to interview superintendent candidates
Because most of the members are off island at this time, the Guam Education Board intends to resume discussions with the two DOE superintendent finalists next week.

Guam - Because most of the members are off island at this time, the Guam Education Board intends to resume discussions with the two DOE superintendent finalists next week. Search committee chair Dr. Paul Pineda says all of the board members will review the resumes of Salvador Avilla and Vince Leon Guerrero who will then be called in for formal interviews with the entire board.
Avilla is the 2010 Teacher of the Year and Leon Guerrero is currently the governor's education liaison. Pineda says the questions have already been formulated and the interview process is expected to begin next Monday, August 8.
