Guam - 40-year-old Jimmy Chin Song will go to trial next month as the defense has asserted the right to a speedy trial. Song is accused of striking 27-year-old Yunmo Ku at the Sing-A-Song Cafe in Harmon last month, resulting in Ku's death.

Despite requests to be released, Song remains behind bars on $250,000 cash bail. Today Superior Court Judge Vern Perez set jury selection and trial for August 24.
