GFD chief nominee's qualifications under fire

Guam - Public safety chair Senator Adolpho Palacios wants the paperwork to show Acting Fire Chief Raymond Perez has the qualifications needed to officially serve in the position. He's fired off several letters to GFD, DOA and the Governor's Office requesting supporting documents that he in fact served as the EMS operations officer at GFD between October 1999 to September 2004.  

The acting chief is withholding comment until first clearing up any concerns the lawmaker may have.
