Guam - Guam Customs and Quarantine officers seized more than a thousand grams of Spice, believed to be synthetic marijuana, when they searched a priority mail package sent from California. According to a search warrant that was executed last month on the 22nd, customs officers found a priority mail parcel addressed to "Haylee" that contained multiple Spice containers with a large plastic bag containing Spice, as well as 999 total small containers with more than 1,000 grams of the substance in similar bags.

The package was sent by a Steve Gillespie of Sacramento, California and weighed more than 17 lbs.  No arrests have been made yet in connection with the case as the matter remains under investigation by Customs officials and the U.S. Postal Inspector. Spice is illegal on Guam and GPD continues an investigation into a spice bust conducted at a Harmon novelty shop in May.
