Guam - Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz introduced legislation that would require the Department of Labor to publicly disclose approved temporary labor certifications under the H-2b program. Bill 256 would require the department to publish and update biweekly on its website a listing of all temporary labor certifications issued and attested to by the governor including information such as the name, telephone number and physical address of the applicant.

Cruz says the measure does not impose any new requirements for businesses applying under the program, but provides general information to U.S. applicants and consumers about the businesses seeking alien labor under the H-2b program.
