Guam - As part of a mandate of the federal Affordable Care Act, it seems efforts are underway to address those health disparities. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced new draft standards for collecting and reporting data on minority groups, including Guam, and for the first time amongst LBGT populations.
These efforts reportedly will help researchers, policy makers and providers and advocates identify and address health disparities afflicting these communities. You can submit your comments on the draft collection standards at Regulations.gov.
The deadline to do so is August 1.
