Guam - Dozens of childcare industry representatives attended an informational meeting about the new rules and regulations for child care facilities recently enacted into law. The orientation was held at the University of Guam and hosted by the Department of Public Health.
"If you have any significant changes or modifications what exactly changes of your floor plans or what have you, you need to let us know before you make any of those changes because once again you need to go back to the drawing board and ensure occupancy is not violated," it was announced.
Some of the other changes in the new law include new rules for staff ratios, professional development and playground equipment. You can read the new rules and regs here.
