Guam - The cleanup continues at Simon Sanchez High School. According to Assistant Principal Melvin Finona, they are about 80% done addressing the health and safety violations cited by Public Health inspectors.
The school was shutdown more than two weeks ago for multiple violations that were never addressed despite repeat inspections. Finona says still left to be completed are repairs to the roof where there are several leaks.
He says the school might be ready for re-inspection next week.
