Guam - The local medical community, cancer patients and survivors and their families and non-profit organizations are invited to the Cancer Care on Guam forum being held this Saturday. Healthcare Committee chairman senator Dennis Rodriguez, Jr. is hosting the event.

"Really the purpose is to identify what services we offer now to our people and where those gaps are sometimes money is not everything. I know we say we're in a tight financial situation but sometimes it's a matter of identifying services for our cancer patients," the freshman senator told KUAM News.

The forum will be held at the Legislative Public Hearing Room downtown from 10am to 1pm on Saturday. The American Cancer Society, Public Health, several oncologists, and others are expected to attend the event that is open to the public.
