Guam - 29-year-old Ryan Reyes, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma, is now in California awaiting a stem cell transplant that he is scheduled to get later this week. Legislation was signed into law last month creating the Guam Cancer Assistance and Treatment Fund - immediately making $2,000,000 available for cancer patients like Ryan, who needed treatment that was not covered by Medicaid or MIP.

With the law's passage, the government has also been able to help several other cancer patients with the cost of treatment.
