Hundreds turn out for Memorial Day in Piti

Guam - Hundreds of people came out to remember their loved ones today during the Memorial Day event at Veterans Cemetery in Piti.The event included a wreath-laying ceremony on grave markers symbolizing those who died fighting in various wars.

"I'm also a retired Army and so is my wife; we come out here to pay tribute to our fallen comrades, said Joe San Agustin, a member of the Veteran's Motorcycle Club of Guam. The organization participated in this morning's memorial ride.
