Guam - The Judicial Council will make one of two decisions tomorrow: they will either implement 10% raises owed to law enforcement professionals or decide to institute 32-hour workweeks for the remainder of the fiscal year. The Judiciary is anticipating at least a $500,000 shortfall and says it cannot continue operations and pay the legally mandated law enforcement increase.
Chief Justice F. Philip Carbullido has said the Council will make the decision when they meet at noon on Friday afternoon.
