Friars win back-to-back titles
In boy's high school soccer the Father Duenas Friars made it 2 championship titles in a row after picking up the 4-3 win over the Southern High Dolphins at the GFA Field in Harmon.

Guam - In boy's high school soccer the Father Duenas Friars made it 2 championship titles in a row after picking up the 4-3 win over the Southern High Dolphins at the GFA Field in Harmon. F.D's Danillo Rapadas put through the Friars first score of the match. Patrick Soto added to the Friars lead in the second half to put them up 2 - 0 after his shot was able to get by Southern's keeper.
The Dolphins found the back of the net in the 62nd minute when star play Nick Roberto got one to go to keep them in the game 2- 1. Minutes later F.D'S John llao hooked up with Jordan Gregory to go back up by 2 goals, Gregory with the nice header for the finish. Southern didn't let up and struck again when Eddie Lorenzo blasted through Southern's second goal of the match to come with in one again trailing 3-2. Patrick Soto scored his second goal of the game to give the Friars the 4 - 2 lead as time was winding down pretty much putting the game out of reach.
That didn't stop Christian Surber from scoring the last goal of the game to give Southern fans one last cheer, FD went on to win 4 - 3.
