GEB votes to keep FQ Sanchez open

Guam - Guam Education board member Barry Mead made the motion this morning to keep FQ Sanchez elementary school open. The board unanimously agreed to the motion. Meade says his motion was made with the promise that the school principal will work with the superintendent to come up with a plan that will help make school operations financially sound.

Stakeholders today say this is a real victory for the Umatac campus.
