Guam - Airport Police officers as part of ongoing Police Week activities collected close to $3,000 in a two-hour span on Thursday for tsunami relief efforts. Airport Police Chief Robert Camacho says his officers stood at major intersections in Tamuning and Hagatna yesterday to raise money for the Salvation Army to help with the disasters in Japan.

The money was presented during a special ceremony at the airport this morning. Airport officers were also recognized for their dedication and hard work over the last year during an awards ceremony that followed.
