Guam - The University of Guam this week launches a bullying prevention program training for Department of Education teachers and school personnel. Mungga Ma'kasse is a comprehensive bullying prevention program that is based on best practices, is in keeping with U.S. guidelines and was developed to address Guam's unique needs from a cultural and regional perspective.

The program is based on the premise that teaching youth to embrace diversity, increase empathy, assertiveness and pro-social behaviors needs to occur both in schools and at home.
