Guam - Public and private school administrators participated in a two-day workshop to discuss how they plan to use federal funding that the U.S. Department of Education is making available Department of Education Federal Programs Administrator Ike Santos says federal officials have said that more than $20 million in grants will be available in a couple of months.

He adds the workshops allows school administrators to decide what areas they plan on using the funding before submitting the grant applications a month from now. He adds the money may go toward enhancing teaching and learning in the classroom, reform programs, anti bullying programs or school security, to name a few.
