Grass fire near Nimitz Hill
Navy and Guam firefighters are battling a grass fire on Nimitz Hill this afternoon. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Captain Andy Arceo says the fire is near the KAL crash site.

Guam - Navy and Guam firefighters are battling a grass fire on Nimitz Hill this afternoon. Guam Fire Department Spokesperson Captain Andy Arceo says the fire is near the KAL crash site.
He says the Navy was first to respond since the fire is on their property. Arceo adds Piti units were activated, and they are currently assessing the scene to determine if more assistance is needed.
