Customs officer arrested for terrorizing

Guam - Guam Customs and Quarantine confirms that one of its officers was arrested on Monday. According to Guam Police Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia, the Criminal Investigations Section followed-up on a complaint filed at the Dededo Precinct on April 14.
As a result of the investigation, police arrested 38-year-old Joseph Taijeron, Jr. for allegedly threatening to shoot a female he knew. Taijeron was charged with family violence and terrorizing. Customs spokesperson Lieutenant Ferdinand Soriano confirms Taijeron has been with the agency for more than ten years, and is an Officer III assigned to the Director's Office.
Soriano says customs is cooperating with the GPD investigation, which he says may determine the type of adverse action Taijeron may face.
